The Future of Mobility - Shanghai Expo 2010


pic-grp-shexpo-0510.jpgThe City of Bremen and GTZ presented three workshops at the “The Future of Mobility - Options for Sustainable Transport in a Low Carbon Society" at the Bremen Stand in the Urban Best Practice Area at the Shanghai Expo from May 24th to 26th, 2010. The workshops were scheduled from 2 to 5 pm and focused on the following three key topics for sustainable urban transport:

Day 1 - Mon, 24th: Transport and Urban Development
Day 2 - Tue, 25th: Low Carbon Mobility for Cities
Day 3 - Wed, 26th: The Role of Electric Vehicles

More than 80 participants attended the event. Participating experts and practitioners discussed a vision for sustainable urban mobility with a global perspective. After the events participants joined in for further discussions and exchanged their experience and knowledge on the subject. Download a PDF of the Agenda in English or Chinese.
